Babies Can't Wait Program- Early Intervention Program
Worried about your child's development?
Is he/she having difficulties with speech, walking or behavioral problems. Then give us a call!
M-SACS can provide services to infants and toddlers ages 0-3 and their families.
If eligible your child can receives Service Coordination. Your child can also receive these services on or off the IFSP: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Family Training and Special Instructions.
Comprehensive Case Management Program**
This is a pilot program to provide case management services to people ages 3-85 years old with mental retardation and developmental disabilities residing in Henry, Clayton, Fulton and Dekalb counties. Case Management services and supports are built around the individual and their needs not around program models. Case Managers can provide these types of services: Linkage and referrals to community resources, Advocacy, Assistance with completing forms/applications, Monitoring and following-up on supports.**
This program is ideal for individuals diagnosis with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and an I.Q. below 70.
**This program is not paid by Medicaid or through the NOW Home and Community Based Waiver.
In-Home Residential Habilitation Program
Individuals ages 5 - 85 who are Developmentally Disable with an I.Q. score of 70 or below and reside at home with their family would benefit from this program. The individual must have a Case Manager from our CCMP. A Direct Care Worker is assigned through their Case Manager to provide independent living skills to the individual. The Direct Care Worker will become a friend to the individual and using strategies and techniques assist the individual in learning specific identified tasks and routines.
